Together let’s read, sing, learn and grow. Bethel invites you to join in any of these opportunities.

  • Daily Personal Growth

Let’s Read the Gospels – each month the 4 gospels are read. You can follow along daily for a month or listen each month for a year. Each month is read from a different translation of the Bible. Each day is a quick 10 minutes of listening and ending with a prayer.

  • Read the Gospels Challenge

Each day will bring a list of some verses throughout Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (You'll be bouncing around a bit!). It may look like a lot, but it shouldn't take longer than 15 minutes or so. In the end, you'll read all 4 gospels in a month in chronological order....so you'll see the different perspectives and details of the Gospel writers on each event! Let's do it!

    Daily Scripture Writing

Each month a new list of scripture for each day will be pinned at the top of Bethel's Facebook page. Each month will have its own theme. Writing scripture by hand (or typing) is a spiritual practice that can help people engage with the Bible in a unique way. Grab a journal, set up a Word document and save each month to a folder to create your own personal Bible journey and even a legacy of your writings to pass on to family/friends!

Group Opportunities

2025-2026 Education Opportunities Calendar
  • We offer a weekly drop in Bible study on Sunday mornings following worship at 11 AM. You can come every week or when you can. Each week the topic is different. It isn't a series where each week builds on the previous. We will spend 45 minutes or so focusing on the scripture of the day as we share fellowship and community around God’s Word. You don’t have to commit to every week (although we’d love that!) – drop in when you can or set an intention of coming once or twice a month.

  • -  Meets on the 2nd Sunday of the month (October – May) during worship time – begin in worship with families. After the Children’s Time with Pastor Emilie, kiddos PreK – grade 5 will go to the Gathering Place and meet with Education leaders for activities and learning on the topic of the month. Kids will end worship with their families.

    - Families will receive a monthly packet for extension and other topic ideas to use at home

    -  Intergenerational and Service activities throughout the year integrating our topics and the events of the church year

Jane Salem, Christian Education Ministry Leader:

I am so grateful you stopped by to find out more about our Christian Education opportunities. Here at Bethel, we see Christian education as a vital piece to each person’s faith development. It is one of the most important ways for us to know Christ to not only deepen our relationship with him, but to equip us to spread the good news of Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to provide learning experiences to members and friends to create “good soil” within us where faith can grow.

Our website will be a place to find resources, take advantage of online and at-home activities, and learn about upcoming classes, discussions or presentations. We intend to use Zoom and live streaming in addition to in-person opportunities to give multiple options for access and engagement. We hope you’ll join us for our current offerings.
