KidVentures PreK- Elementary 2024-2025

In Person

-  1 time per month – during worship –

• Kids will start worship with their families

• Opening hymn in worship will be a kid friendly song (Erika is great with this idea – we will provide story/topic for month and any songs we like. Erika will help curate the hymn for the day with her own ideas if needed)

• There will be a Children’s time introducing the topic/theme/story of the week

• After Children’s Time, kids will go to Gathering Place for activities that support the story/topic with our KidVenture Leaders

• After the prayers, kids will return to worship with families for Holy Communion and the end of worship

Take-home packets

• Take Home Family Page for both In-Person focus and At-Home topics

• Encouragement/ info for parents to share stories, build faith, and understanding of worship

Monthly Support at Church

• Students who go to the nursery during worship throughout the month will hear stories and have crafts/coloring pages ready for them to access during time in the nursery.

• Children’s worship bulletins will be made available for readers and non-readers each week, along with Busy Bags for kids found in the back of the sanctuary.
