Refresh, Revitalize, and Reaffirm Our Church Home

“Let your light shine before others, so they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

— Matthew 5:16

CONTRIBUTE TO THE CURB APPEAL CAMPAIGN Because First Impressions Matter

We’re embarking on a mission to refresh and support our building and grounds so that Bethel reflects the warmth, welcome, and life of our church family. Whether you’re a neighbor, guest, or longtime member, we want people to look at Bethel and say: “Something’s happening there.” A cared-for church shows a caring church.

JOIN IN A VISION OF HOSPITALITY Let’s work together to make our church home a beacon of welcome and hope in our community.

Together, we are the light of Christ—inside and out. This campaign isn’t just about us—it’s about our neighborhood, our city, and the people we haven’t yet met. As Bethel works to become more actively engaged in the life of our community, through community events, neighborhood partnerships, or inviting new families in—we want them to know: you’re welcome here. A building that shines with care and intention helps us reflect the light of Christ more clearly.

The scope of this campaign includes three areas of growth:

1. A series of targeted improvements to enhance the warmth, accessibility, and functionality of our church spaces, both inside and out.

2. Community engagement goals focus on making Bethel a more active and integral part of the surrounding community, supporting the success and well-being of those who live and work nearby.

3. Applying for and securing grant support from several organizations that support the goals of congregations like Bethel..

Commitments to this campaign will be placed in Special Fund 999:

This fund includes donations that are used for building repairs, special projects and other needs that allow Bethel to create a welcoming space for the congregation, guests, and our many ministries, including MEEC, GFF. For years, responsible use of this fund has allowed Bethel to complete many needed repairs to our facility, including classroom remodeling, organ repair, roof replacement in needed areas, it also has allowed us to advance ministries like support three seminary interns, contribute to national ELCA ministries, and most recently this special fund has helped us balance our budget at the end of each year.

Make a donation.

Please take a moment to reflect on the blessing Bethel is in each of our lives by making a commitment to the campaign to Refresh, Revitalize, and Reaffirm Our Church Home.
